Legal Team
Join us to build the legal framework that protects GBTA and keeps it compliant in Algeria.
GiveBack to Algeria (GBTA) is a national initiative in the preparation phase, designed to operate across all 69 wilayas. Our proposed structure combines:
a national non-profit association under Algeria’s Law 12-06 as the guardian of the public interest, and
a wholly-owned operating company, “Al Amana Development”, to deliver projects professionally.
To make this model safe, credible, and durable, we need a strong legal team to design, review, and secure the legal architecture from day one.
Why do we need a strong legal team?
Compliance by design, not as an afterthought.
Protection of the mission, people, reputation, and operations.
Robust governance safeguards: conflicts of interest, procurement integrity, and auditability.
A legally enforceable asset lock and non-distribution rules, ensuring profits are reinvested for public benefit, not paid to individuals.
What the legal team will work on
Constitution and compliance in Algeria: statutes, bylaws, governance charter, ethics and transparency policies.
Alignment with Law 12-06 and practical registration requirements.
The Association – Al Amana Development legal relationship: ownership, oversight, delegation, reporting, and audits.
Contracts and partnerships: templates, reviews, risk reduction, dispute clauses.
Procurement and anti-corruption framework: competitive processes, documentation, conflict-of-interest controls.
Employment and volunteering: agreements, confidentiality, conduct, data protection.
Intellectual property: brand, content, identity, usage rules.
Legal risk register, complaints pathway, and dispute readiness.
Key questions we want answered early
Which legal architecture best protects the mission long term?
How do we implement an enforceable asset lock and non-distribution model?
What is the safest compliant path for contributions and donations when GBTA becomes formally active?
How do we structure governance to minimise conflicts of interest and strengthen oversight?
How do we support national representation across 69 wilayas within a consistent legal framework?
