GiveBack to Algeria (GBTA)
A citizen-led blueprint to support sustainable development across all 69 wilayas, with governance, transparency, and reinvestment as non-negotiables.
What GBTA is
A structured national initiative designed to turn goodwill into measurable, long-term impact through professional delivery and reinvestment.
What we are building now
- Clear documentation and a public model explanation
- Governance safeguards and operational standards
- Pages for volunteering, FAQs, and updates
GBTA in one glance
A clear governance framework, transparency standards, and a reinvestment mindset aimed at practical national value.
A structured national model
Designed to operate across all 69 wilayas, prioritising feasibility, measurable impact, and disciplined delivery.
Transparency first
Clear roles, conflict-of-interest rules, documented decisions, and regular public reporting as standard expectations.
Reinvestment principle
Projects aim to generate value and reinvest returns to fund more projects for the public good.
How the model is designed to work
GBTA is built around safeguards that protect the public interest and ensure professional delivery.
The Association (Law 12-06)
A national non-profit association is proposed as the guardian of the public interest. Its role is to set standards, oversee governance, and ensure the mission remains aligned with transparency and national benefit.
Al Amana Development (operating company)
The association is proposed to own 100% of a professional operating company, Al Amana Development, which delivers projects with commercial discipline, then reinvests returns into future development projects.
The funding reference used to explain the model
We mention a reference contribution to communicate the concept, not to request funds today.
To illustrate scale, GBTA is often explained using a reference contribution of €25 per month from a large number of people over time. This figure is used to communicate the concept, not to request funds today.
No fundraising is taking place at this stage. The focus is on preparation, governance, and legal set-up.
