We’re in mobilisation phase — help us build the team that will launch the initiative
GiveBack to Algeria is looking for committed volunteers to support the legal and organisational set-up in Algeria
and to build bridges with the diaspora abroad (awareness and communication only — no fundraising outside Algeria).
Every effort prepares the official launch in Algeria.

Volunteer roles available
Diaspora Ambassadors (outside Algeria)
Represent the initiative locally, share key messages, and host info sessions (communications only).
Content & Media
Writing & translation (EN/FR/AR), social media management, visual assets.
Community & Events
Coordinate Q&A sessions, webinars, newsletters, and feedback management.
Data & Transparency
Summarise surveys, maintain dashboards, support periodic reports.
Legal/Organisational Support (inside Algeria)
Assist with registration files, documentation, and coordination with notary/authorities.
Translation & PR
Translate initiative materials (EN/FR/AR) and liaise with media.
How it works

- Start: clear weekly tasks and short check-ins.
Volunteering is flexible (typically 3–5 hours/week) and adapts to your availability.

- No fundraising outside Algeria; all contributions will run exclusively through Algerian banks after registration.

FAQ
Is volunteering paid?
For now, volunteering with GiveBack to Algeria is unpaid and relies on civic commitment.
All funds are reinvested exclusively in projects inside Algeria.
However, our vision is clear: volunteering is the first step; sustainable employment is the goal.
When the first projects open to the public (e.g., supermarkets, logistics hubs, libraries), the initiative will
begin converting active volunteers’ agreements into formal employment contracts.
At that point, volunteers become paid employees with salary and benefits, contributing to day-to-day operations.
This makes volunteering a genuine bridge to employment, especially for youth to gain experience and transition into stable roles.
Are there interviews or tests?
A short orientation call to present the initiative and align on your tasks.
Do you provide certificates?
Yes — active volunteers receive letters/certificates of appreciation.
